I mailed my application yesterday and just realized that I didn't write my name at the back of the photographs. Is there a big implication for forgetting this?
Yes Calgary is doing very well , very fast good luck I hope all goes smoothly for the other steps , wish you the best , montreal is the slowest maybe becaus of number of applications in Quebec
Your intention to reside on Canada is a foundation of your application. If you don't tick the box on the application, your application will be rejected. That is actually one of the biggest mistakes you can make while filling your application.
You also need to note that you will not be able to leave Canada from the day you send your application till the day you take the oath of citizenship. If you do, your application can be rejected. The authorities are being extremely awful when it comes to that, I know people who let and got stopped at the airport when they got back. Depending on their applications, time spent in Canada, etc. some of them had their application revoked.
What happens after the oath is unclear. As a Canadian you have the right to move and be mobile as much as you want. As to go and live in another country is still a question being debated now in the senate with the new citizenship law. But regardless of what law is in place, the federal government wants to end "citizens of convenience". So to put a long story short:
1- Your application will be returned if you don't check the intent to reside box on your citizenship application. That will make you bounded to that intention even if the new citizenship bill (Bill C-6) asses as C-6 does not hold any retroactive clauses
2- If you really intend to leave Canada, you are better to keep this very much a secret and not talk about it. Consult an immigration lawyer on what are your options for leaving after getting the citizenship
Hi all - I am new to this forum and have been involved in many residency and citizenship matters for the last 5 years. Ask me anything you like and I will tend to clarify with the best of my knowledge

@ saga- You also need to note that you will not be able to leave Canada from the day you send your application till the day you take the oath of citizenship. If you do, your application can be rejected
