We New Delhi applicants have to wait more as VO is having highest inventory of pre-june cases. We can also observe the same from actions of other visa offices around the world who have either got MR or even some have already got PPR.
 
No MR yet for me.... waiting..... hope to hear good news very soon.

We got our passports stamped with the Canadian Visa today from Detroit Office..........Alhamdulillah. Thank you all once again for all the support. The whole process was pretty simple, the lady at the window was awesome and very friendly.

I'm a late March 2010 applicant. Original app to CIO Sydney, full docs to Buffalo in Aug 2010 then in Nov 2011 file transferred to Seattle VO. I received MR late May 2012 and today i received PPR from Seattle :)

Hang in there everyone. Good luck to all those still waiting for PPR.

Walekum As Salaam. We received the request on the 7th of March 2012 (dated 22 Feb). We did our Medicals on the 14th of Mar and Ottawa recieved it on the 27th of Mar.

If you friend doesn't reside in Canada that means he'll be paying higher amount, not $5 as if being in Canada. Why don't you apply on your own then. in that case you wouldn't involve 3rd party. Usually 3rd party who lives in Canada needed for this case. It's up to you though
