Still no news for MI-2 and MI-3 FSW applicants who applied to Buffalo VO !!!
Applications of FSW PhD Stream and Quebec Skilled workers are being processed, but it seems like that CPP-Ottawa has forgotten about FSW applications from Buffalo under MI-2 and MI-3 applicants. For many applicants third year of wait has started and no medicals yet.
Lets request Jason Kenney (email him or twitter) to look for our applications too.
I have strong feelings that we would start to hear from Ottawa regarding our files soon.At most within the next 2 months.I can feel it guys,for all MI-2,we are next in line.Two more months communication with MI-2 FROM Ottawa will fill everywhere in different forums.
Congratulations MI-2 guys,it's about our time and turn.

I agree, because two of my friends who are applicants from Dec 2010 have recently received emails from Ottawa to update their info. They asked them for a CV. I hope this results in their medical request soon.
Hey Samantha, we're pretty much in the same boat....2 months apart. I beleive you're MI02 though. I'm MI-03 I think both MI-02 and MI-03 will be finalised at the same rate.

Yes i am in Canada. Been here since April 2009, working for the same company.
I just got a call from my MP's office. They have found out from the ministers office that our applications will be finalized no later then Dec. 2013.
They could be finalized before but definately will not go over Dec. 2013. I don't really know what to take from this as i was hoping to get my PR within the next 3-4 months, which is still possible but hearing that it won't go later then the end of 2013 makes me think they'll drag it out to the last possible minute.
Again guys and girls, even though we have no control over the process, lets make sure we keep each other informed about any updates.....just to give people some satisfaction that things are happening....even if they are slow.
hi cygnet, we have the same timeline. i am also in canada and have an arranged employment. i have received my gcms notes last month and there were no updates since the last time i requested my gcms notes last august 2012.
I am MI2 and still RBVO on ecas. I hope we all hear from Ottawa soon. My timelines are:
CIO file receipt: March 3
Credit card withdrawal: April 5
PER: April 25
RBVO (Buffalo): May 3
IELTS: sent with package
PCCs: sent with package
In Process: waiting
Medical request: waiting
Visa: waiting
Landing: Have stayed in Alberta for almost 3 years
@ Tej2013: maybe we can expect for MR within next 3-4 months, on what you said what they'd promised you not later than December this year for your file to be finalized...let's hope for the best!!! I've been here in Canada for 5 years!!!
@Tokyo123 and Samantha2011: same here, I did applied for my GCMS too twice and nothing had changed...except that it was transferred to CPP-O, if I haven't requested for my GCMS I wouldn't have known my file was transferred. Unlike some applicants that recieved notice from Ottawa that their files was trnasferred from Buffalo to Ottawa
I just got my CAIPS notes from Ottawa. Apparently my application is IN PROCESS. They started doing security checks back in Buffalo. However, nothing has happened since the file was transferred to Ottawa and the Due Date for my file was a year ago. Here's hoping that this start moving soon.
