Landed successfullly on 10th March at edmonton.
I found immigration officers and customs offices extremely co-operative and friendly.
At immigration desk they just asked for local address thats all. Its advised that you have it in written form with you at immigration desk.
They havent even asked why i landed at edmonton instead of toronto.
I found people here very nice and extremely friendly.
Today got my SIN number and applied for health card and opened bank account.
that's gr8...welcome to Canada!!! Get a house,job and start your life..!!!!
better start with any job asap and same-time hunt for your own profession too.
Have u landed with family..??? sorted your accommodation?
u may get a simcard/phone from chatr or mobilicity or public mobile....!!!!
once u may get your phone sorted,leave your number in msg!!!

My first preference is job then i will find accomodation near to it.
Will start submitting resume from today.
Still date applied for SIN, HealthCard and Opened Bank account.
I heard that on Sunday we all indians meet at Temple and our social network start building up there only. So looking forward to it.
