I just called cic today since the application time has been 6 months and 3 days. He told me my application is still under BG check. the decision should be made any time from today and July 24, 2016. I asked him if he could see something negative or flaws in my application. He replied that everything looks OK. That the most information i could get from CIC.

I also received the same email to get reassessment of meds from New Delhi VO.. I completed my reassessment on 27th Feb.. the status is passed as of now.. no updates after tht..
It means there can still be a wait after these re-assessments. Glad you told me, now I will keep prepare myself for additional wait. I hope you get your PPR very soon and me too

Usually the eligibility is cleared and BGC is the last step before the PPR. Priority is given to inland applicants, PNP, CEC and then Outland FSW. Did you order GCMS notes? What do they say?
After my BGC went to in progress on sep 3 I sent and email to Ottawa asking for a status update and this is what they answered:
Good Day,
Thank you for your email.
Your application is still under review.
While we process applications as expeditiously as possible, each application is unique and we are unable to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion.
At this time, there is nothing that is required on your part. We are awaiting the results of some internal processing prior to finalizing your application. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated.
Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.
Regards,
Based on this, they can finalize my application tomorrow or may take another month or longer, but definitely not 12 months. That is insane.

I ordered my first set of notes in January, were delivered in early Feb and on them my eligibility was cleared. Ordered the second set, will have them by the end of this month. Keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best!
