From my experience security takes 6-8 months mine took about 9 months, takes long because Afghan police files are all on paper and not on computer and this is done by outside company.

i ordered my gcm notes - it says on there under background -passed and security intiated on jan 18-2017 - also the mp said the same thing to me

background was completed same day as interview - basically its checking ur police certificate to make sure u hve no charges or no issues on certificate.


---update i just visited my mp today n asked her to do inquiry she told me that ALL cases that applied before dec 2016 MUST be approved by dec 2017 - she guranteeeed me that this is true and said immigration minister has advised vo this date cannnot be surpassed no matter wt - sooo let see inshalllah ke mesha before this yr ends

it could be possible that ur mp means to say security but wrote background! its hard to tell what they mean - u need to order ur immigration notes to verify what exactly is going on - i believe background is 1st then security

I found this website for order notice , but it give me some option like ( 25$ for standard order , other one 225 $ , and .... ) which one is it ?? plz could you help me .. thanks

I found that the steps to activate the online account is also incorrect which is quoted by others here. They said that in "city/place of birth" we should write nothing except (hit the spacebar once and leave the field blank) and then go to the next field. But when i checked i found that the field is mandetory so we should write the correct information which is given in our application, despite i did but i failed maybe i made mistake in other fields. This means we follow wrong procedure. Then i asked someone els to guide how it worked for him and waiting now.

yeah i found it other way without any money , but i put all information last part said fail , and show me put correct ID number , do you know which ID number ? like the one ( UCI) or file number ?

Can you tell me how did you activate the account. I mean what exactly you did with the fields that it worked for you. I mean what option you selected and what you entered. Like capital letters or small letters ; What options you selected to feed the data. Etc

ohh no bro , you dont need any sign , just fill this like form and the end they want to ur credit card to put amount $5.00 , and than after 15 min you give email from CIC not VO ..
