Anyone has any idea
approx how long does it take to get PPR or interview request after re medical

If re-medical is for TB test then 1-3 months for the culture to provide results. Every condition can be different. Most of the re-medical is TB tests where X-ray is ambiguous.

Otherwise, a normal medical test results are published within 3-5 business days to CIC MyAccount.

After medical security may still be pending so can take 1-3 months or up to a year or two while medical results expire.

If your re-medical is solely because last one expired then you are lucky because your security has passed and they are just asking re-medical to soon after ask you for passport. If this is the case, the whole process takes 1-3 months tops.

Online status shows that medical is passed
It’s been a month since I did medical and no update yet

Just to add my issue
Its been 24 months since i started my case gave my first medical then i gave my interview in islamabad on 17 nov 2019 after then i got the pre arrival service mail then my medical was exipred i gave medical again on 5th of feb 2020 and medical is recieved and passed now still waiting what to do? It says background check in my account ......

Thanks for letting me know. My representative said he emailed ndvo but I also searched other forums last night someone said “we dont have to email ndvo we can go to any vfs and submit the passport there because the system of immigration is totally integrated through GCMS and therefore any Visa office can print Visa stickers for your passports and print the COPR. “
So we will try this too.

I am an afghan citizen and need to submit my passport for visa to VFS Global in Islamabad.
Can I mail my passport to them or do I have to go travel to Pakistan? I did my Biometrics in Islamabad.

I think it’s better for you to go to Islamabad to be on the safer side a lot of people from my family that have been sponsored they happen to travel to Pakistan and they stayed within a week probably, and received their visa from vfs global so it’s better for you to go because you can’t trust the mail, it can get stolen.Anyways it’s up to you I just want to help.
