So stressed here, I see that 2171 has reached the cap.
Does anybody know when was the last checked date? My application was received by CIC on 15.10
I pray it was within the cap...

My application was first accepted and then during eligibility check it fell 2 point short of 67 points. My application was not returned. I just got the email from CIC that it fell short of 2 points. CIC mentioned in email , "Note: Any different or new information that you submit cannot be taken into consideration. Should you have different or additional information, you may wish to submit a new application.". So I took the IELTS exam again and scored the required points and sent it today 11/21 Under NOC Code 2171 . Now i see the cap for 2171 has been reached. Will my application be considered or returned back to me ??

What is the use of this cap. From Jan 2015, process will change so whether cap will filled or not who cares than.

First para States sent it by email and following para indicates send by courier.

HI, you heard correct. No point applying in that NOC now, it's better you apply under 1114. Cheers.

Hi, I'm sure you know by now that CIO is still charging late August/early September applicants at this time so October won't be able to get in. So sorry, best of luck with Express Entry.
