Dear Seniors, As i need guidance before applying from New Delhi, India...wanted to ask few questions related to the Work Experience Certificate....I am applying for FSW for NOC 1212 - Bank Clerks Supervisor. But my designation is that of a Senior Manager in the Bank. However, my duties are all the same as that of a Bank Clerks Supervisor. Kindly let me know if my Work Experience Letter should have this title of Bank Clerks Supervisor. My job title is not the same in my pay stubs. Do the cic people match the job duties or the designation as well. Also, let me know what should i fill in the application in Occupation column - my Designation or Job Title.

Designation is not important please.
The critical thing here is that you must be able to perform the lead statement of this NOC and at least 60-70% of the main duties of the NOC.
So go ahead and apply, designation should not stop you at this point in time.
Good luck.

Big congratulations to you Nition/zamboy. Welcome on board the FSW train

I have been a silent observer all the while, it's been enlightening. THANKS ALL. CIO just recieved my app on the 12th November.NOC 2281.
I just noticed an error now. I put Ghana as my Visa office instead of Accra. I hope this will not affect anything.
Hi All,
I submitted my FSW application on the 10th October whilst I am aware from the posts above that they probably havent even got around to check these yet will I receive some kind of notification that the application was received and the status of my application in the future. I sent it via post and not online hence I don't think I have a log in or anything for this. Please advise. Thanks

Hi, if your application is accepted after the initial review, PER - Positive Eligibility Review will be sent to you by email and it will contain a unique client identification number with which you can check the progress of your application. If your application is not accepted, you won't receive any email but your application will be returned to you by regular mail, no ID number. All the best.
Hello guys,
As per link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/bulletins/2014/ob572.asp
Effective May 1, 2014, a maximum of 25,500 new Federal Skilled Worker (FSW) applications without an offer of arranged employment (including 500 applications in the PhD student/graduate stream), 5,000 new Federal Skilled Trades (FST) applications, and 8,000 new Canadian Experience Class (CEC) applications will be considered for processing for the period of May 1, 2014, until April 30, 2015, unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction. Applications must be completeFootnote1 and included within the caps set for each program to be considered for processing
Is it true about FSWP that it will or may extend till April, 2015?
Please reply at your earliest convenience,
Thanks.

Hi,
As per the preset scenario, it is true. But they have mentioned that "unless otherwise indicated in a future Ministerial Instruction", so they can change date anytime. Hopefully from Jan 2015 on-wards. Lets see what will happen. Hope for the best!!!

No new Instruction has been issued countering the one in place. Although there are rumors it may end in 2014, it is better to operate on the side of caution and apply as soon as possible.

Hi, already responded to you here, http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-fsw-points-criteria-announced-new-federal-skilled-trades-class-fstc-t115576.0.html;msg3732675#msg3732675
Dear Seniors, Kindly help...
I have send my docs to CIC, which they have received it on July 30 through DHL. I had put in my Credit card details for the payment, but recently my bank strictly asked me to put in a security code additionally for any online transactions. So this is not updated to CIC officers. For the same reason i have send a DD of the same amount to CIC on October end through DHL. My worry is how will they correlate these two files. We havent received any file number too. Do I have to call CIC office? if so the direct number? or email contact?
Kindly send me your suggestions and wish me good luck.
a newbie.
