No, you only have one credential so you get 21 points for Post-secondary program credential of three years or longer. This is according to the Instructions Guide (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp) :)

Bachelors is 21, masters 23 and PhD 25

Hello, dani only wanted clarification for the 4 year bachelor which is equal to 21 points while 22 points is for two or more post-secondary program credentials AND at least one of these credentials is for the completion of a post-secondary program of three years or longer.

Guys,
on the main FSW 2014 thread, a valuable member (forum name - ToCanadawithLove - unfortunately he got his file returned) has posted "Reason of Returns Letter" written by CIC to him. he has uploaded the whole letter.

This is the checklist which CIC use to verify whether our applications are complete or not (when they receive our applications at CIO -NOVA SCOTIA)

so i request to you (everyone) who is going to apply, please read this document carefully and make sure you do not make any mistake which is listed.

click on the image, it will become large.

please also pray for that member, may God help him to get success for his new application.

Hi All,

As per NOC's list we have three sub categories for software field.

2172 - Database analysts and data administrators (DBA)
2173 - Software engineers and designers
2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers

Till date, the cap count for 2173 and 2174 are almost done(nearly reaching 1000),

but for the NOC 2172 accepted applications cap count is less than 100.

I am planning to apply for NOC 2172. So I want to confirm whether there is any reason behind this.

Kindly let me know if any tricky part behind the 2172(DBA) NOC, like CIC rejecting these category of applications for any kind of reasons?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hello Everyone . I have got a question regarding the "time between acceptance as complete file and DD cashing.."
when the CIC updates the CAP as complete file on website do they mean they are going to give PER verysoon i.e, within 1 or 2 weeks OR they keep the file with them for other people of the CIC office to cash the CC or DD as per the sequence for 2 months and then they give PER.

Does CIC means they have cashed DD and CC or planning to give PER to those many people.??
