Hi,
Most of the time it's a formal interview to clarify some information that you have provided in your application. Some peoples mentioned in this forum that their interview have been cancelled by the agent in charge of their application.

The invitation Link that I got for interview is for Teams meeting.
It's only says CLICK HERE TO JOIN MEETING.
but when I am clicking, It's not working.
I don't know how it will work.

The link is active just make sure you connect before the interview's time. The meeting will automatically start when the agent accepts you in the meeting from his computer, because he is the admin. Again make sure you click on your link a good 5min before the appointment.

Virtual Interview is on Microsoft Teams.
In the letter It's says ONLINE INTERVIEW LOCATION : CLICK HERE TO JOIN MEETING.
But I Tried clicking at the link, I am not able to click it. It's not working.
I don't understand how it will work or what should I do in this case?
Is anybody been through the same situation? Please let me know if someone knows anything about this.

Question about status of minor application.

Me and my wife took tests around mid 2021 and our status changed to Decision Made in ECAS on Dec 17th, 2021. All except oath are shown as Complete in the tracker. But for our minor son, the ECAS still shows In Progress and tracker shows everything except Prohibitions as In Progress. There is no change of status after Dec 2021.

Is this normal? Can we expect oath invite for adults, when the status of minor's application is still showing In Progress. Anyone else had this same experience, could you please confirm.

Guys, the ceremony instructions website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...me-canadian-citizen/citizenship-ceremony.html) mentions a "Permission Release and Consent form (included with the notice)", but I don't see it with my notice. And the notice also states that "by participating in this video oath ceremony, you are consenting to the use of your image".

Can I assume that that consent form is only necessary for in-person ceremonies and not needed for video ceremonies?

The officer said something about writing the initials of her name somewhere ( either in the Oath form You will need to include the officer'or may be in the subject of the email).

But where I have to go to connect to the meeting. Because when we do meetings on Team or zoom, we usually have meeting ID to go in that particular meeting. But here I have only one line saying click here to join meeting, which I am not able to select right now. Also It’s a pdf file that Cic has sent as an attachment, I don’t know how it will get active on the day of interview if it’s not working right now.

Yes, in my case, there was no Permission Release and Consent form, so no need to worry about it.
