Got a ghost update on my application after 6 months of DM and waiting for oath.

The update was on 31st Jan 2022 but nothing showed up. Anyone else in the same boat?

What do you mean by ghost update ? and where did you see that

Ghost Update is when the Last Changed date in the new tracker changes. It shows now as 31st Jan 2022.

Feb 9th. I'd emailed them before and they said that the letter is sent 1 week before the ceremony date.

Guys, the ceremony instructions website (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...me-canadian-citizen/citizenship-ceremony.html) mentions a "Permission Release and Consent form (included with the notice)", but I don't see it with my notice. And the notice also states that "by participating in this video oath ceremony, you are consenting to the use of your image".

Can I assume that that consent form is only necessary for in-person ceremonies and not needed for video ceremonies?

I have a question all of my tracker status have been set to completed apart from oath ceremony on Jan 19 but the overall status is still "In Progress" when usually they will change the status.

You should see an update in a couple of weeks if you are lucky, or in 6 month if you are not.
No one can tell.

I sent web query on January 19th for urgent processing and today received response that query has been submitted to visa officer. If this is the speed then not expecting anything quick but who knows.

For information, I am Feb 2020 applicant and all except Oath completed on January 13th 2022
