Im facing the same situation. Biometric status is not updated.

Same here. My parents gave the biometrics for the 1st GCkey application. It shows completed status in GCkey profile. For the 2nd portal application, we selected the option that biometrics are available already and no need to give again. The portal shows the data but the biometric step status doesn’t show ‘completed’ - for both mother & father. Should we contact IRCC or raise a webform to get it updated?

Was the first application refused? If not, did you withdraw first before re applying?

no the first application wasn’t withdrawn or refused. i’ll withdraw it if they don’t by the end of the month

Was the visa office that processed her application Nigeria or Nairobi, Kenya?

i honestly don’t know which visa office processed it or how to check

I tried raising multiple web forms but got just automatic replies.

New portal has no option to select primary applicant . It ask to add family/group member, and when I start doing her kids application display the option to choose like imidiately family member ot extended family member.

Please help!

The option to select primary applicant will be found once you completed inputting the data.

applied on nov 4th
Received application number on same date and thats it.
No more updates after that
Current status says “we are processing your application.

Applied Visitor Visa based on an invite from a business in Canada.

Application date Oct 22nd
Biometrics request Oct 23rd
Biometrics done ( and updated) - Oct 29th

Review is not even started as per the status on the new portal. Wait game
