No changes to ECAS since the February 20th update to say that they started processing the application.

I didn't get SA until April 7, so I think I"m aways away from background check starting. Happy for you, though. I, too, am Montreal hub.

Your AIP should be coming pretty soon then! It took the June applicant right around 1 week or less to get it after BGC processing.

How do you know where you app was sent?
(I'm an October 17 applicant, and most of the OP on the October thread seem to have gotten AIP, and yet I've heard nothing since they started the bck check in February. I'm in Quebec and wondering if that's what might be causing the delay compared to others who've applied after I did.)

Hi you would see it on the Sponsor Approval letter. However i dont think think your app is processed in the Montreal office as most October applicants are being processed in Mississauga. We got a SA for my wife on Feb 18 and there has been nothing since. The SA letter listed Winnipeg as the issuing office. This is getting really frustrating now.

Wow! I can understand why you are frustrated. I didn't get SA until April 4.
