What is the point of them giving us Approval in Principal before they have finished processing our paperwork (i.e. background check,etc.) It is my understanding once we receive our AIP we can apply for OHIP which is a good thing, but I was wondering why they would allow this if they haven't finished processing all of our paperwork. I don't think I"ll ever fully understand this process.

I finally got my GCKey linked after trying for months... now that I’m logged in, I see they haven’t even started my background check. Have SA, passed medical. But stuck on “reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.” Sigh. Anyone else in the same boat? This seems worrisome...

I have been keeping an eye on the June applicant group and they are in the same position, it will feel good when we see them moving forward!

Anyone from the Montreal hub: If you have any changes on your app, post when you have a moment..then, we can all hopefully move forward too. Maybe June before we hear anything different though.

One of the June apps indicated they got AIP and it took them 9 weeks from SA to get it. I would assume anyone here who got their SA the week of March 4th will start to hear something next week. But it's hard to know since many of the June applicants processed in the Montreal hub still havent gotten the med request so I don't know if Montreal will finish processing them first before getting to ours or what :/

We got SA on March 11th with Hub Montreal in the pdf letter, nothing since. So maybe in a couple of weeks if I follow your logic, i will for sure keep everyone posted.
