I finally got my GCKey linked after trying for months... now that I’m logged in, I see they haven’t even started my background check. Have SA, passed medical. But stuck on “reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.” Sigh. Anyone else in the same boat? This seems worrisome...

I am. My SA got approved on 5th April 2019 but still waiting for AIP. I don't know whats going on.

Your AIP should be coming pretty soon then! It took the June applicant right around 1 week or less to get it after BGC processing.

Let's hope! I also hope that everyone else's application starts moving too!

Recieved interview letter email today! Scheduled for May 21st.

Makes me wish I lived in Calgary... Apparently Vancouver office is very notorious for taking 60 days between DM and interview letter...

My SA was April 4, and I don't have AIP either. They are still reviewing my eligibility. Good luck to us!

Heads up - you'll need to get a decision made on ECAS on the applicant's side first before you get the interview letter. There are still a few more behind the scenes steps like completing your background check, fingerprints (if needed), etc... before they issue a decision made.
