Hey guys my wife (PR) just recieved an email with a PDf attachment. Is this the SA that should have came to me the sponsor? The overview of the email is:
"This email is regarding the Application for Permanent Residence that you submitted to this office. Attached please find a letter related to your application. Please fully read the attachment and save this message for your records."
If this is the SA shiuldnt it come to me the Sponsor?
Got a hold of them. The wait really wasn't too bad. And they confirmed that they did in fact receive the payment and the letter we got was more than likely a human error.
Man, it's hard to help not knowing the details. If you can share what your timeline is, what your eCAS says, and what is inside the attachment, people here can give you much better advice.
It depends on who's email you put on your IMM00008 Form (the general application). If hers is written there, than all correspondence will go to her. However if its your email that you guys selected, then yes, it should be coming to you.
I put her email on the form that asked all the contact information for the principle applicant i cant remember the form number but it was one of the requirements for the PR. I put my email on the form that was a requirement for me the sponsor. I received AOR in my email Feb 12 and linked my account to GCKEY so i dont know why the SA would go to her email. I haven't opened the attachment yet because i am at work and saw the email on my phone and will open it at home on my computer.
Application recieved Dec 17
AOR recieved Feb 12
AND this email recieved by PR (SA?)

You should be able to open the PDF on your phone. You must have either put her email in your sponsor section or it's human error from the CIC agent. Either way, it should be good news!
I opened the attachment on my phone. The attachment is for Payment for Biometric fees. They want me to submit payment receipt for now and not actually go for the biometrics.

Yeah i think that explains. But is it strange that they would ask the PA for payment without sponsor getting SA yet?
Anyhow i have to figure out how to use this IRCC WebForm now lol. I will be back with more questions
I think so. We are surpassing October Outland thread which has 56 pages and only 5 pages behind November Outland thread (which has 72 pages) now. Go December Outland thread!

I recieved the email alert on my phone and my heart skipped a beat lol and didn't know if i should open the attachment or wait till i got home to my computer at home. So my first reaction with full of adrenaline was to let you guys know and see if you had any idea. I was assured by some of the members here that i could open it on my phone, which i did, and found out its a letter requesting my wife (PA) to pay for for biometrics and submit the receipt via IRCC WebForm. So thank you for your earlier reply about WebForm as it has come in handy at a perfect time.
My time line is as follows:
Application recieved Dec 17 2018
AOR recieved Feb 12 2019
Payment for Biometric fees Feb 21 2019
P.S. Both eCas and GCKey say that it is still being processed.
