Today my fiancé (PA) got an email requesting his medical be completed. As far as we can tell he has received no other correspondence before this. I'm assuming this is all good stuff - I was so worried I would have missed something or made a mistake in the application, but if they're asking for medical then surely I can relax a bit now? Lol.

Yes got the AOR email to me (sponsor) on Wednesday, then medical request on Friday. Our application was delivered by FedEx on June 1st, so around 39 or 40 days before AOR? Just found out the medical will cost £315!!! Can't believe it's that much.

Are you having medical done in the UK? That’s outrageous. When I had mine done in my home country it was around CA$200

Yes we are living in the UK now so have no choice really. All the panel physicians near us work at a special 'Medmigration' clinic where all they do is medicals for visas... suppose they can charge what they want that way! It's robbery! $200 is much more reasonable though I still think it's a lot.

I have a 20 y/o daughter who's staying in the US and so had her medical done there (I'm already in Canada), hers cost nearly 700 CAD after the exchange rate (it was nearly 500 USD). Mine in Canada was a little over 200 CAD. It's insane.

I got AOR 1 on July 10th and I have been trying to link my paper application to my GC account but NO LUCK!

Has anyone else figured this out?

Also, when it asks for either passport or place of birth who's information do I enter?

We have been trying as well. I think we just need to wait for a few days. You can use the online tool and still check details.

4th Received, i say received thats what date courier said delivered is that how you know ?

No word since then, noticed a few people from the 4th being already moving so getting anxious now!

Try putting "2" for number of applicants (sponsor & principal applicant). Enter principal applicant's details.

I applied thru lawyer she tracked nd told me that it was recieved on 4th june at missisauga

They will send you an e-mail if you provided your e-mail address in your application.

Does the AOR1 email goto Sponsor, PA or both?

I see some June 1st weeks havent got AOR1 still
