I noticed on ecas that the Sponsorship Application Status for our application, changed from In Process to Decision Made today.

When your application received?

I called, and my application is getting returned. I’m June 1st applicant. I’m waiting for it to come by mail to see why they returned it.

If you could help on this,
In case someone has a residence permit in country of residence but cannot maintain that status after application is submitted. When they ask to update status in country of residence we can show that the applicant is living on visit visa in the country now.
File transfer has not happened yet, so will the file be transferred to country of residence or chances are that will go to country of origin.
Any help is appreciated.

Revenant probably will know this better, but I guess they are not directing the applications only for the PA VO; your application can be processed at another VO if they have a lower file load, to try to make things go faster. So I would not worry about leaving the country because of that, but sure would update the address with CIC

We just received our AOR1 today! Our application was delivered on June 4th and received AOR1 38 days later.

It came from CPC-M or sydney ?

I posted mine in May so that was before the new instructions to send to Sydney, I think?

Today my fiancé (PA) got an email requesting his medical be completed. As far as we can tell he has received no other correspondence before this. I'm assuming this is all good stuff - I was so worried I would have missed something or made a mistake in the application, but if they're asking for medical then surely I can relax a bit now? Lol.
