I am tired of this BS arguments from people who work/study in Canada saying we pay tax and we should get first preference rather than the outlanders. It's like white supremacists and Trump supporters saying we lose jobs and bla bla to immigrants. The whole north american continent is an immigrant continent. If anybody can say I should get first priority, it should be the Native American. Not anybody else.

That is also my estimation. Point of safety is on 450. Of course not everybody can get there. So if you cannot try to exhaust all possibilities to get as close as possible (unless you are waiting for PNP, then you can relax).
If draws will be closer to 440 and you manage to get like 445 it is much better for you, than to sit on 434 and think if your spouse shall get her / his ECA done.

Again not true.
Before EE, you would have to have 67 points and to be one of those desired NOC and then you would hit quota limit pretty soon. That was slowly pushing people for more and more waiting time. As a result people were waiting 2 - 5 years to get to Canada.
While now they do not put down specific NOC, but people compete in language knowledge, university degree and work experience (I do not see age as a major competition factor from to point, that you cannot influence how old you are, but of course it gives advantage to younger ones).
If you manage to get enough points, your application is done rather fast (in most cases).
Fact is, that it is not that hard (technically) for anybody with a Master degree or double diploma to get 440+ points if he or she is in 35- age range.
Of course to get there you need to have high English / French level (at least from what test will say).
And somehow most of those that manage to pass university are good at studying and preparation for tests in general.
A very well-articulated point of view- I was 35 when I received my ITA last year as a result of maxing out the language scores coupled with a Master's. My only suggestion to everybody, if at all possible, is to enhance your language scores focusing on particularly the Listening module followed by the Writing one. Last but certainly not the least, keep the hope and pretty certain all of you good guys would be here in Canada in no time.

Couldn't agree more. At least there is a beautiful country in the world like Canada, who welcomes immigrants every year at an increasing rate. IRCC is not working for us, actually we should be thankful that there is IRCC.

I agree with all stated not disputing that, but it would be nice if they had a CEC draw just like FSW and PNP. I don't think I offended any due process by wishful thinking?

Yes, it would be nice indeed and there is nothing wrong with wishes. For example, I would wish that Canada wouldn't penalize accompanying spouse that much and add points for spouse's international work experience. But I have to respect and abide despite that it is not the case.
