Thanks friend. I managed to change the name in the EE profile with the married name. So taking an affidavit is fine to confirm its the same name in other docs?
Need you help..
I am getting my husband's ECA done in order to increase points.
He has done HND ie fulltime 3 yrs Higher National Diploma from The UK
and then directly got admission for 3rd year hospitality bachlor's degree which was distance learning from India
Both the universities are recognised by WES.
How many marks can we claim basis this? ECA is currently under process.
Your quick reply is highly appreciated.
Thanks a Lot in advance.

Once you get ECA, only then work out the point. At times, ECA has recognized Master Degree as Bachelors degree, so I suggest you wait till that process is completed.
I guess even the 2017 report makes the feeling worse especially the bit about those who got ITA late last year filling up the admission quota for this year.its almost like there's no hope. And scores won't come down to 430s....its all doom and gloom
i am not clear with what you said on "you need to mention the name as per her passport. Not as per what is mentioned in your passport". You mean to say use the name in the Bio Page of passport and not the name in the observation page of passport?

Need one suggestion. My EE profile is incomplete and would be expiring today. Can I create new profile later. My ECA is under process and WES has given date of 13 June 2018. I am also in process of getting wife's docs ready for ECA (should give me 10 points for her master's).
My score as of now is 424 (with spouse) + 10 for wife's ECA. Else it's 449 (without accompanying spouse). It will reduce by 5 each post 20th August.

With reference to all the gloomy and scary posts regarding ITAs and PR quota etc on ROH, I just want to say that the ITAs issued in the last quarter of 2018 will not contribute to this year's PR quota. They will also get processed in 2019. So this year should be no different than the last one, however, 2019 can be a bit tighter. IRCC will try to meet it's goals by third or fourth quarter of 2019, so that most of successful applicants receive their PRs, and land in time.

Although the stats are pretty clear but still it doesn't make any sense to me. From the plain stat for the year 2017, it seems they approved more PR than they had to. Around 20-305k more PR were approved in 2017 than their target. However, there is a catch, as they dont have any PR target but instead have admission target so it is safe to assume that they PR issued in 2017 also had 2018 in mind. Similarly ITA and PR approval in 2018 also will have 2019 in mind. I think majority of the ITA issued in the last 5 months will result in admission in 2019 and not in 2018.
I am saying this because I think CIC knows what they are doing and there is very little probability that they would end up issuing so much more than their target. Moreover, CIC has been very methodical in their approach this year so far, which makes me believe it is all part of their calculation. If it wasn't the case then I think there would have been much less ITA up until now. Already we have 31500 ITA issued in 5 months and It is most likely going as planned.
