2018 Spousal Sponsorship in-land Applications: timeline and updates

I am the Feb 8th applicant, but my OWP link shows my file was received on Feb 2, and I am still waiting for my OWP approval email.

I double checked, it shows Feb 1 on the work permission online system, but my PR status shows date application received is Feb 8. Is there any Feb 8 applicant still waiting OWP?

Hi everyone
I am new here!! really need you guys help. CIC got my application on July 31, 2017 (common in law sponsorship), and they changed my status on May 15, 2018 to I passed the medical exam.
The problem is my current working visa will be expired this September 9. ( I have not applied for the open work visa with my sponsorship application because the processing time was 12 month.. so I just expected that I would get my pr card before my working visa gets expired).
I don't know if I should apply for the open working visa since it also takes time to get the open working visa?? or should I wait for my PR???
Please advise me.. do you guys think that I should wait?? or apply for the working visa???

My Husband's file shows as rec. on Feb 02. We are still waiting for OWP. Is there anyone with similar timeline who is still waiting for OWP? On June 02, it will be exactly four months. What should we do then? Please suggest.

My wife applied Aug 10 and finally got on Dec 1so was pretty close to 4 months for us

CIC only requested the Schedule A form for your case? The same happened to me as well. I only received their request for Schedule A, but they didn't ask for Policy certificate. I am still waiting for their next step. I uploaded my schedule A form in March, haven't heard anything back ever since.

Yes. Cuz I already sent my country’s Police check with my application. Hmm, did you link your owp? If you have linked,you could check it there.

Yes I did. I submitted my home country PCC with my application. I didn't apply for OWP, because I have been working in Canada for so many years.
I guess the only thing I can do is wait. I checked my status very often, haven't heard anything back yet.

Ohh , I get it. And then next step is waiting for medical request. Guess in July or August will receive medical request.

I sponsor my wife and file was received on March 1, they request fro PCC after that. I just attach Police clearence from India.
It already 3 months and i do not get any other notification.

My concern do i need RCMP Police clearence or not ?
If yes then what i have to do now ?

They also write this:

 At this time, you need to provide a police certificate for:
1) The country where you currently live, if you have lived there for six months or more; and
2) The country where you have spent most of your adult life since the age of 18.

You must also provide this for every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or not) who is aged 18 or older. Please refer to your application guide for a definition of “family member”. This must be received at this office by: 2018/05/04

Please advice ?

Any suggestions ?
