Hi Maam...

I am going to Pak inshAllah in Jan 2018 for 2 weeks. So if I prolong my stay and try to stay for 2 months still it be okay ?

Also I submitted additional docx requested on 23rd Nov. Its been 5 days no news. I uploaded them to MyCIC and it says now Replacement Provided. Should I submit them through WebForm too?

If it says that replacements hv been provided, why would u want to send them via webform? This actually means that they hv been uploaded and their system has received them ..

Thanks for the replies everyone. I will start the application myself. I have to see if I should apply right now or apply after shadi/ consummation of marriage in April 2018. Preferably, I want to get here to Canada ASAP after that, is there a way to apply for a visa, say a visit visa, for her so that she can join me in April 2018?
Also, I am currently a PR recently put in my Citizenship application.

I would highly suggest that u apply after the marriage .. full proper mehndi, shahdi, walima, honeymoon. Etc .. take lots of picx .. of every rasum/event .. Then, when u come back, apply ..

U cant apply for a visit visa if ur applyin to sponsor her .. they will reject it .. and if u do apply for her visit visa before u sponsor her, and she does gets rejected, then they question this in ur package ..

Sabar say kaam lo .. woh kehtay hai na kay sabar ka phal meehta hota hai .. there r couples here who r waitin longer than u to get together ..

Hi, Im not sure about that as the longest my husband stayed out of Canada to visit me during the process was 6 weeks. That caused us no trouble and thats what i recommend to PRs whose applications are in process.

Im sorry i cant help you with the online forms as we applied through the old system and never had to upload forms (we sent everything with the application package). I hope some other 2017 applicants can help you out.

That sounds good then. I hope my case get processed inshAllah sooner. I dont have to visit my wife again.

Pakistani spouses are refused 98% of the time for visit visas. I also got refused even though i had European travel history and a job. Better to apply for spousal sponsorship directly after Rukhsati.

Today, My wife received a call from TCS visa application office that we have received a parcel from Canadian High commission Karachi, please bring Rs.1,690/= along with your CNIC copy to receive the parcel. She received a parcel and it contain the original documents from London visa office that we submitted with the application and a letter stating that:

Please be advised that as standard procedure an officer has assessed your original documents and copies of the relevant documents were kept on your file.

We are therefore now returning the enclosed documents to you.

Is this the standard process?
Anybody else has experienced the same?

Yes i also recieved the call from TCS Visa office Karachi to collect your parcel.with 1690 Rs fees

I know they will return the original documents but my main concern is, Whether this is the standard way to return the documents?

I know when you get the decision made on the case then they will return the documents to you either you have to request the documents or they send you an email stating that original documents send to you.

What original documents did you get back? I thought in the new kit no original documents were asked.. Just certified copies
