If that doesn't work, do what they did for kids in the early days to cure colic... Rub whiskey on her gums..and if no sleeping in 10min: "one (shot) for you, two for me, and one for you, and two for me..."
I not sure honestly, but I would probably send it via CSE. The thing is that sending non-requested documents might slow down your application, but if they ask it later, that will slow you down anyway. It takes about 45-60 days for them to review what you send them and 2 months will bring you exactly in the period where you should expect to see some movements from CIC.

Anybody knows what is holding up the applications from early 2016? I applied in feb 2016, medical passed, fingerprints sent in august 2016, I was also a part of SPR. Since then no progress.
Looks like SPR didn't really mean faster processing.
Is this the case with everyone?
it seems they are good at giving false hope, extremely frustrated right now with the whole process, it seems they have skipped over a whole bunch of months and never looked at them again as they process the queue jumping months instead, government at their best
Hi guys, we just got a letter saying my husband meets the eligibility requirements and we just have to wait for the medical to be approved, which is already approved, and the background and security, which says it's in process. I think this means he got his AIP right?

Yes AIP, congratulations! Once the security checks will be done, your husband will receive a DM letter and a landing appointment letter.
Check ECAS, that seems more accurate then mycic.
Edit: with AIP, he can register to OHIP/RAMQ if you're living in Ontario/Quebec. Most likely in other provinces as well, but I don't know with certainty.

Did you talked with an agent from IRCC to confirm if your security checks are completed? If it's only the medical that remains, you can expect a DM very soon. However, it's harder to predict if your security checks aren't completed.
