Really quiet week thus far and it is Thursday today...
I think they already started working on it since long time.
Whats is your background check statut ?
Hi,
My background check status still reads as "we are reviewing your background check" it has been like that for around 3 months (i dont know the exact date), even before they asked for my PCC. This could suggest that they started the security checks as mentioned in other posts a while ago, and then later requested my PCC.
I have "Your action is required" since June due to that system screw up. You can ignore this message.
Your status change means that Immigration Officer actually opened up file ( = your file is being worked upon) , reviewed additional document and changed status after confirming that document is as per his/her expectation.
God.... i really, really, really, really, really hope your are right. =D

Local one... Back home there are many "versions" of PCCs, and the one Canada wants is only granted at the request of a foreign government... so I am not able to ask for it in advance. IRCC provided me with a letter to request it once my application was being processed. It took forever....
At least it is done and now they have it.
Some simple fellows here on this forum spread ideas and rumors without due fact checking. Just FYI here are some statistics which are publicly available on Statistics canada website.

Hi Bud,
Just a question....
Has your eligibility been passed or still remained "We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"?
Cheers,
montreal.07 got PPR yesterday.
