So even though when we got AIP Service Ontario told us OHIP will not be valid until 4 Aug 2017 ,once we have CoPR OHIP will be valid?

Service Ontario said they would mail the OHIP card just before the date it becomes valid.

It will be valid, in 3 weeks (August 4th). There is a 90-day wait for the coverage to be valid. Same goes for Canadians who move provinces...

1.application recieved on Aug 09, 2016
2. Medical results recieved
nothing else
i did my medical on june 23 2017.
do anyone have an idea how long i have to wait.
Is there anybody else waiting from July or August 2016

There are folks waiting from March and April still. It's highly variable and based on the file's completeness. If they have to request documents, medicals, or security checks, you can tack on an extra 60 days (minimum).

That's not necessarily true. You cannot based timing off the BG check. Log into ECAS and tell me what it says there.

I'd be talking to an agent. But MyCIC is what the automated attendant get's information from. Sadly, lately it's been woefully inaccurate.

If I knew what ECAS said (including what's under the links for "Sponsorship Application" and "Permanent Residence Application" (there is more detail if you click the link), I could comment on when I felt you might be done. I don't trust anything MyCIC says anymore.

No, you still have the 3 months waiting period. But in Québec (I don't know for Ontario), showing CoPR before receiving the card would have change something on the card (I think the expiration date). We called RAMQ the week after my wife landed and they said we cannot do anything now because your card is in production today, but they told us, it doesn't matter, it doesn't change the services covered or anything, the change will be made when you renew your card next year.
