there was one person posting (don't remember if it was in this thread or another one) that he was said 8 to 12 weeks. We were told 6-8 weeks, and as posted by @profiler CIC website currently states 57 days (so 8 weeks, or to be more precise as @profiler likes, 8,142857142857142857 weeks). !!!
Every, single, day the crap pile gets deeper, and deeper, and deeper. *sighs*
So, who's got some good Canada150 news for us?
I was born here, so I will not get the same joy or excitement from opening a letter that says, "You're Approved!" or "You're eligible to apply for permanent residence", after a torturous wait. So, I, and I suspect others here, live vicariously through your experiences

ok, so, you can trust him.... OR, you can accept my advice -- it's done. You are landed. No ports of entry for you. You have your SIN. You just wait for your PR Card, and tell everyone you know that he is a FRIGGING CROOK WHO STOLE YOU MONEY
This is so amazing... he clearly doesn't know a thing about inland spousal sponsorship! You are landed already, so no need to go to a port of entry. That would be the case if you had applied outland. Just relax and wait for your PR card!
We're seeing lots of activity. DM's, Landings, SA and AIP's. Good times for Canada150. The best one for me personally I think was @legolg has an approval. But that's her news to share, not mine...
Aww thank you so much. I don't think without your help it would have been a positive tbh. Especially the letter template you created. I'm waiting for an email now.

Because you haven't yet gotten AIP, you might have to wait for your COPR to apply for OHIP. I don't think they will accept the "Processing is now complete" DM letter. AIP or COPR I think is it.
SIN, yeah definitely need COPR in your case. If you had an OWP, you can get a temp SIN, but there is no way you'll apply for that -- you'll land before you even submit it.

It totally blows my mind. Like, WTF? Does he realize that, technically, he would have STRANDED botengcoke outside of Canada if she flag-poled??? She'd leave, and unless she was from a visa-requiring country, they'd refuse at the border!
