I was so surprised that they sent me message at 7pm. I assumed that they may doing overtime now?

They are yes, and on weekends. But that message was likely dispatched by the officer and the system delivered it ~6pm (or started the process to).

I sent my work paper application in October and they asked for restoration and I also applied for that , but nothing received for any of them.
I sent my medical exam and they received it.Do they also need status in Canada before AIP?

No they don't. They will still process the application under public policy (meaning they cannot refuse solely because you don't have status).

Restoration, if you can apply for this, is just a payment. The forms now allow you to apply for restoration on the OWP form (and pay the $200).

I had restoration in Mar because my work permit application was pending, buy I didn't receive anything yet.

hi.. sorry to kinda cut the momentum.. i have a random question.. i applied feb2017 and have a non-accompanying dependant and i was just wondering if my dependant's name is supposed to pop up under my name as primary applicant in mycic? my medical reflected as "passed" but i have not yet received a medical request for my dependant. maybe i probably have to wait a while? thanks for any insights.

I think I would call and ask that one. I personally have not seen it, but that isn't saying much, because the only kid we have is mine and he was born Canadian in Canada. If you call them, they can verify if they have sent a medical request for that dependent...

I called and was told they haven't reviewed my Medicals, which I did 4 months ago ...M just fed up of the whole thing
