As @sylvain1 says, it's no issue. They know employers remit taxes on quarters usually. So they link the temp to the perm. They become the same account...

I will try calling first thing tomorrow. I tried to call last Thursday, but it said they were overloaded and no operators were available to take my call. I'm curious, what does ECAS mean?

Electronics case I guess? It's one of two CIC systems. The other is myCIC. Lately, ECAS has been more accurate.

But once they start processing, you can't get a refund.... There is a chance, and it's a pretty good chance, that you may waste money here...

Have you noticed someone lately getting SA and AIP at the same time?

Yes, because I have read for some people it took a long time even after AIP. So why not apply for work permit and start working. One income isn't enough. So it's better to have a work permit handy asap, and gain some sort of status. But if I get DM before getting the work permit. I think we can withdrawal the application for work permit and get refund on it (even if they won't refund, still okay because we have DM) lol. So why not give it a try.

But for now I don't even know if I have the AIP or not yet. Because to apply for work permit I have to have AIP. Just on SA I can't apply for it.

I do get where you're coming from and I also know what you need in order to apply but the wait time for a work permit is approximately 4 months and you're more than likely to be done before that.

After AIP it takes 1-2 months. That's what my representative told me.

Hi, we applied April 1, 2016 and so far it just shows Decision Made for Sponsor and Application Received for Applicant, we didn't even get any email when the Sponsor side changed to Decision Made, and it doesn't even say what the decision is.

It has been like that for almost a month now with no changes, for the applicant it just says that things are processing.

Really? Maybe it's just their technique to make more money. I was so happy to hear that it doesn't take so long, Because we have AIP and it works same as applying for post graduation work permit which also takes about 1-2 months approximately, but in that work permit you have to have a ECS or ESC something like that (I am not sure what's it called) from your institution that you have graduated. But I guess I was wrong.

I have received a medical request on 30 May 17, although I had some my meds upfront in July'16. I have sent a copy of the report through CSE. Still, awaiting a response on the same.

When did your status change to DM?
