It is pretty pointless. There is variability based on the country, profile, medical history, etc. Could be relatively quick but also can take many months if not more. Do not book a ticket for your parents to visit Canada before the TRV is approved.

No upfront medical
No biometrics

Got medical request.

Its been more than a month and still no progress.
Also I don't see estimated completion date updated in profile is that normal?

Estimated completion date won't show up, its normal. Have you filed User Representative form? or using tracker to check the status?

Yes i submitted IMM5476 representative form and also using ircc account to track status

Try calling IRCC and check about the medical request not being sent. They'd give some insights.

I called IRCC here in canada they said it is in Delhi office of processing and they cannot be contacted directly only through webform

On top Right of the Application Status Tracker page, I see it was Last Updated on March 7th, 2025. So I am assuming the status furnished above is as of 7th March (1 day after my application submission). Is it typical for the tracker to not update for over a month? Will it update only when an IRCC agent updates the file or will it refresh periodically?

Currently the processing times for Super Visa from India is around 114 Days as seen from IRCC website. Realistically how long does it take from applicants from India?

No one can tell you. Background/security checks can take time depending if they have lived and worked in other countries. Eligibility has not even started.

Understandable. They haven't been out of the country so I am assuming IRCC is taking its own time. That said, any leads on the frequency of Application Tracker update? The last update on my tracker says 7th March and nothing after that. Does that mean, the tracker didn't update or IRCC didn't add any meaningful update to the application?
