Thanks Miss Bee. the IRCC agent said security hasnt even started yet. Should i still order CBSA notes or wait for a later time when IRCC says security has begun
Hi Miss bee, thank you very much for your reply. I will include the police report to the application then. Just to clarify:
- should I include this information to schedule a and travel history even though it was 13 years ago?
- if i need to include it, do i need to include also every other travel/address between 13 years ago and 10years ago? (So that there are no gaps in time)
Hello @Miss bee, I would like to know if I need a new account to link my PR application to the initial application as I am currently on spousal open work permit?

text: FILE REVIEWED & O/S FOR FINAL DECISION:
Security in Process for PA
security is still in process no change there
My security did start at Nov 28 2023,
AOR April 4 2023
is this coming to end maybe.
A related question. My work permit's validity was reduced to Dec 2024 due to passport expiry. I applied July first week for extension online but there is no update to that either.
I am getting nervous if this is not extended by Dec or if it gets rejected since i applied online and not paper based.
Should i apply for a BOWP just in case or should i wait until a final decision on WP application, with only one month left
Hi @Miss bee
Have a doubt.
Can we travel to US and come back to Canada after submitting portal 2 and meanwhile waiting for ECOPR? I do have valid TRV.
Please let me know
Thank you

Yes, you can travel to the US and return to Canada while waiting for your eCOPR after submitting the information in the PR Confirmation Portal (Portal 2), as long as:
1. You have a valid Temporary Resident Visa (TRV): Since you mentioned that your TRV is valid, this allows you to re-enter Canada.
2. You maintain your status in Canada: Ensure your current status (e.g., worker or visitor) remains valid while you are outside Canada and when you return.
3. Your trip is short: Ideally, trips to the US should be brief while your PR process is ongoing to avoid any complications or delays in communication with IRCC.
• When you re-enter Canada, you are still considered a temporary resident until you officially receive your eCOPR. Inform the border officer that you have submitted your PR portal details and are awaiting the final PR approval.
• Carry proof of your PR application status, such as your Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) or correspondence related to the PR confirmation portal, in case it’s requested.
If your travel is urgent, it’s a good idea to inform IRCC about your trip via the webform or provide any updates through your portal, though this is not mandatory.
Quick question for you -- I have been seeing that some people have asked few questions about what applications need to be hand-signed? Does Schedule 4 - Economic Classes - Provincial Nominees form need to be hand-signed? The application guide says the electronic sign is fine. Can you advise about this and also if there are any other applications need to have hand signatures?

Yes, for Schedule 4 - Economic Classes - Provincial Nominees, an electronic signature is sufficient if you are submitting the application online, as per the IRCC application guide. When applications are submitted electronically through IRCC’s online portal, you generally complete the signature section digitally.
Hello @Miss bee, I would like to know if I need a new account of link my PR application to the initial application as I am currently on spousal open work permit?
are you trying to say you were dependent on your current visa but principal application on PR application?
Whether you will link it to your former profile which belong to your spouse (visa principal applicant) or create new GCKEY for yourself as the PR principal applicant?
