It’s common for the status on your GCKey account to change during your PR application process, and “Not Applicable” (NA) appearing for the Background Check doesn’t necessarily indicate an issue. it could mean:
System Update Placeholder: Sometimes, “Not Applicable” is shown temporarily while your background check is transitioning between stages. It could indicate that the background check has moved to a different phase or has been temporarily updated in the system.
It’s not unusual for the status of an Additional Document Request (ADR) in GCKey to remain as “We need additional documents” even after you’ve submitted the required documents. Here’s what might be happening and how you can manage the situation:
1. Processing Time for Document Review:
After you upload the requested documents, an officer needs to review them. The status may not update until the officer actively reviews and acknowledges the documents in your file.
2. System Delay:
Sometimes, the GCKey system doesn’t immediately reflect updates, even though the documents have been received and are being processed.
3. Pending Linking of Documents:
If the documents haven’t yet been linked to your file, the status might remain the same until they’re reviewed and processed.

If your previous job is inactive from which you got nomination from , you were supposed to update PNP office regarding this. Did you notified PNP office regarding this ? It’s mandatory to update any job change , job duties change , lay offs , termination to PNP office .
The PNP office is aware, infact they were even the one that flaged it, but after proving that it is physically active I was given the nomination, but my fear now is If IRCC will accept what PNP already accepted.
What do you think?
And at what stage will IRCC check employment verification ?
