My Eligibility passed on Feb 21 and since then (GU) my BGC in GCkey says: “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.”
From what I read on this forum they haven’t started yet my background check as this should go back to ”We are processing…” at that time. Why it’s taking so long for inland’s I don’t understand.

Same. It's been so long since I had an update with my application and people from Inland November and December AOR are getting their approvals weeks ago. Meanwhile, Outland December and January AORs are getting their approvals already which is so weird...

I even see some AOR Feb 2023 got approved which is quite insane! What did they check during those 20+ days?!

Just got off the call with the IRCC agent.
He mentioned that everything is completed other than security which is in progress.

I just don’t understand why outland gets his background check verified so fast and then approval, while I’m inside Canada and applied before to come here a few times, have my history of immigration in their system, but I have to wait at the of the queue.

Got through to IRCC this time WOW!
Basically everything is still in progress.
Eligibility: In progress
Background: In progress (Security: Passed, Criminality: In Progress)
Medical: Passed
Biometrics: In Progress

My Primary VO: Kitchener
Secondary VO: Vancouver

I'm quite sure that I was assigned to Vancouver VO first then re-assigned to Kitchener.

Hmm, I'll wait on the CBSA for more information!

Of Course! The only difference I see between our cases is that my Background check in Tracker shows as "In Progress".
To answer your question, yes, I spent a couple of days for vacation outside Canada post application submission near end of December.

I can see a medical number in documents (no expiry)

I used old medical

Rest all is showing as completed now

Mine is in progress for more than 3 mos

True. We are almost on our 4th month yet still no update regarding our application. I have an incoming vacation on June and I need my PR Card before... I submitted a webform about this but they replied with a generic reply.

I believe webforms are not very useful. Maybe the approval will come when we least expect it!

My boyfriend and I wanted to travel in April or May, but I can't book anything while waiting for this... Will need a lot of patience for this...

I took vacation on February fearing I might miss getting my PR card if it was mailed...oh how wrong I was lol

My AOR is Oct 18 and I still waiting. Someone with mid-September AOR has just been approved, there's no rule
