We sent notarized invitation letter to be here on our kid's birthday in August.
15 day visit proposed
All funds for visit shown in my father-in-law's account, we shown no funds
No previous travel history - anywhere

I applied visitor visa for my mother and brother together in new portal but it shows two different applications. But invitation letter and most of other documents I uploaded in Mother’s section no invitation or funds proof in brother’s application. Is it okay??

I applied on 14th feb review not started and directly got email on 19th February (Sunday) refused. I showed my job letter my vacation leave SOP I am getting married in Nov 2023 I attached my wedding card and my engagement pictures and the purpose was to visit for tour and my cousin brothers and his family.

Doesn’t look like a strong tie to home country.

I submitted my Passport personally at VFS New Delhi on 06 Feb 2023
Received email to collect passport on 14 Feb 2023 at 2 PM
I managed to collect on 14th Feb itself by 3.45 PM

Thank you. My parents are from India and applied their from India too. I am suspecting it to be from Delhi as we live in North India.

Thank you! Yes it was a quick turnaround and tbh I wasn’t expecting it happen this fast.

- showed $16k for funds ( bank statement exceeding this amount)
- consistent in/out flows of amounts in bank statement - 6 months
- receipts and other related documents

He is doing business in India and would like to visit Canada for few weeks. He and his wife already have US visa stamped in their passport and have visited US multiple times. What is the process to apply TRV for them? I am the one who would be providing the invitation letter. What are the documents required from his side and what are the documents required from my side? He needs to show strong ties to India. Thats all matters. There are no special documents required.

Do we need to book the return ticket as well when flying with visitor visa?

Hi my parents submitted their passport to VFS Delhi on 20th Feb.
Status shows its under process at IRCC since 21st Feb, no chance to the status since then.
Their flight to Canada is in 3 days.
Any idea what can be done?
Anybody else isa similar situation?
