Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

April 5th still nothing , wanted to visit family in June lost one family member and still can't leave this country very sad take 3 months or longer to get a passport

Need help!
I mailed my passport application along with required photos but just now realized that guarantor only signed the back of my photo and forgot to write the applicant name by mistake.

Will it cause a rejection? The guarantor has verified and signed on my driver’s licence photo copy that I sent along with the application but not sure how passport department will treat my photos. Hope they can validate that guarantor has signed the application and drivers licence that has my name on it.

I mailed my application yesterday only and can try to call Canada post to recall the package if it’s a big issue.
Please advise.

I called Canada Post and they told me recall is not possible at all. So the question remains now is whether the passport office will accept the photos with only the studio stamp, date and guarantor's signature or not?
The application has my name and guarantor signed it, additionally, the driver's licence copy is also signed by the guarantor so I hope the passport office can validate me using all this instead of rejecting the application.

Please advise.

Same timeline here my passport was received at Gatineau QC on May 18, still waiting until now, CC hasn’t been charged yet, and no travel plans.

Hey,
I am not sure if they will reject it or not but I can tell you what I did when i made an error to rectify my application. I had forgotten to sign on the credit card page as it was a last minute decision to mail it instead of applying in person (didnt want to line up). i had to reprint page 4 with credit card details just before mailing and i forgot to sign it. I wrote a letter of explanation with a new "page 4 only " duly signed and mailed it 2 days later. I even included details of the original application mailing details. I remember they were received one day apart as i had requested for signature confirmation for both. Exactly one month after sending it, my credit card was charged and 11 days later (yesterday) i received my passport. I didnt apply for faster processing/make a transfer.

Called again at the beginning of June they said you will get it within 2 weeks. Called again in the middle of June said you will get it within 2 weeks. Called today and told me the same thing you will get within 2 weeks.

Hello, I sent my mail application to Gatineau and it was received in Ottawa on the 6th of June.
I noticed that a payment pas processed on the 27th of June.

if I understand correctly and by reading all the posts in this message board i should be receiving my passport and citizenship certificate by mail in two or three weeks?
