How much time does it take for the passport to each once it leaves canada post? It looks like I have a tracking number and the packet was received by them on 25th June. It was it is in transit on 27th June.

Any ideas on when it will arrive?

Yes I am still here - submitted March 10 but credit card had a payment issue. Resubmitted on May 4 and CC charged May 12.

Since then no updates. I do not have any travel plans and I think I got penalized for the honesty.

Credit Card charged : June 6
Passport printed : June 15
Reply from Passport Office for April 30 status inquiry: June 20 - "Passport Approved and in Production"

Did you enter any travel dates on the form? I wonder if that had a influence on fast processing of your application.

How or when are you guys calling to get through to an agent?

I called a lot but it's the same everytime. Just that generic message plays and the line disconnects.

Hello sorry for late response.
My girlfriend and I pretty much spam called until we get on the line.
It takes a lot of efforts to just get on the line for the call.

I dont think it has any effect of the processing as I entered the date of travel which passed a month ago. They never considered it.

I applied via mail to Gatineau on April 12, travel date on application noted as August 19 - called last week and told it is "under review". No response to on line inquiry on status. Note this is a new passport, as previous passport was for a child and this is for an adult. I think they do look at date, as my application was 2 weeks ahead of this person and I am still waiting.

My travel plans are for end of August and that's what I entered on my application form.
