Work Permit

Dear Friends,


I am in Canada on Visitor Status. After getting the LMIA is it mandatory to go to border or we can apply online to get the work permit.. Please help.

If you are from a Visa exempt country you have the option to apply inland or flagpole(go to border), if not you have to apply online or paper based.

Thanks for reply. I'm from India and i want to apply online instead of going to border. My visitor visa is valid up to March end. so, please guide, m'i eligibility to apply online.

You cannot. You have to apply from India.

Hi, actually I'm in Canada on visitor and and I got my PNP nomination and got Work support letter. Now I need to go to border to get the Work permit. So I was trying to find if I can apply online instead of going to birdeb. Please clarify accordingly.
