Hi guys yesterday my cic account updated now its showing your application was approved

My timeline
Applied work permit in india

June 9 2017 submitted in Jalandhar
Nov 24 Passport requestd (surprised)
Dec 28 Medical requested (shocked)
Jan 12 2018 status changed to approved in cic Account

Now waiting again to back my passport from VFS embassy

hello all,
Is it worth hiring a consultant to process your work permit application when you already have a positive LMIA and a job offer?

My son received an email from the employer's consultant about the service fee to continue the processing of his work permit but it was way too much thinking that work permit application is only $155 if I am not mistaken.

You should double check. Fees is $255 as per my knowledge. I could be wrong

I paid $117.02 for my work permit

I paid $240 ($155 for work permit and $85 for Biometrics)

After that no reaponse from cic,

I'm 37 from Mongolia and planning to apply skilled trades program as a cook. I have 5 years experience without having certificate but I still can apply as cook with the job offer from Canadian employer. Can you please advice me ?

Hi,

U have to have letter for all ur employment records to prove ur work experience.

Think u need to have atleast a trade certificate to apply work, not very sure.

Hello all.
I met 5 peoples . They are agents. The 20th told me tahat they can get for me Canada work visa from India.
In the beginning they need my docx to send Canada. If I get approval I have to pay them 5000cad . Then a lawyer will help me to get LMIA. It will take 3to 5 months. That's what they said.
after getting lmia I have to go for medical and then after submission of passport and all dox at the embassy.
IS IT POSSIBLE FRIENDS?

Hello!

I have a concern that really bothers me. After IRCC received my application, up to this date, I have not asked yet for a medical examination. This confuses me as my other colleagues, who are doing the same process for the same employer, were already asked & submitted their medical results.

I am a Filipino & am applying from BAHRAIN whereas my colleagues are processing in the Philippines.

Here is my timeline

08th Nov 2017 LMIA Approved
16th Jan 2018 Application Received

Any advice on my case will be highly appreciated.

I submitted my application on Nov 19, 2017.
