Work permit delay in visa processing

I don’t have the screenshots from the lawyer just got a mail with screen final decision your application is approved you need to send your valid passport to finalise your application.
He will send me details on ppr

Congrats finally atleast now things are moving. I am April applicant got BVl in Oct, still no response. My attorney also sent expedite request letter. Lets see when my turn will come.

Yes it is but with very slow pace. Few people from feb-march got approval. So with this rate few more months it will take to cover the backlog.

True it seems they have different priority now, students are getting it in a week or two.

Since April and March we are waiting so frustrating now.

Passport Request: " This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. A decision has been made on
your application. We require your passport to finalize processing your application.

and Biometric Confirmation letter - all are valid till 2030

Please let me know - can I consider this as an approved work permit? and I just need to stamp in my passport?

Congratulations. Your passport will not be requested if the WP was not approved.

Trying to figure out if you are an essential worker hence the fast approval.

Hello, I have applied for LMIA based work permit from India in July and still waiting to give my biometrics. The LMIA will expire on April 2021. Can someone advice, if I didn't get work permit till April, will my application be refused and my employer has to file for a new LMIA?

As far as I know LMIA can be extended for one or two times (Check with immigration attornry) they can tell you better.

I will advise do not wait for Biometrics to get open in India, better to look for other options (Dubai is the best if you can)

what is your complete timeline.
