Work permit delay in visa processing

My timelines:
Medical - 1st september
Online application - 17Sept
BVL and PPR - 9Dec

Congrats thats really quick turn around time.

Application filed in April.
Medical passed Oct 20th
BVL Oct 26th
Additional document review and eligibility started: Oct 27th.

still waiting for the final decision.

god knows how they are processing the applications.

As far as I know LMIA can be extended for one or two times (Check with immigration attornry) they can tell you better.

I will advise do not wait for Biometrics to get open in India, better to look for other options (Dubai is the best if you can)

Work permit filed along with upfront medical: 18th July

Not sure if medicals are approved, as the account is managed by the lawyer and I don't have access to it. I think it should be approved otherwise they would've let me know.

Should I go to Dubai, as I think they will start biometrics in India soon?

If you have applied for the Work Permit, it doesn't matter if the LMIA is valid or not.
You have to apply for the work permit before it expires (which you have already done)R

Mine is not under GSS. If you submitted on April 1st you are already past 13 week, mine was submitted on 23rd April. Let me know when you hear back on your application.

So frustating 45 days after BVL still no update. eligibility and additional document is under review.

Now holiday season is approaching hoping to get final decision before that.

Yeah, I got my visa in November, took a flight a week ago, and now I'm in Canada.

Not to discourage you but I ordered GCMS notes on Nov 3rd. On Dec 2nd evening, I got an email saying that they need 90 more days for GCMS notes. I had applied through Get GCMS (https://www.getgcms.com/).

This is what they said:
that in accordance with the Access to Information Act, an extension of 90 days beyond the statutory 30 day limit is necessary to process your request. This extension is due to a large number of records or necessitates a search through a large number of records and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations of the government institution. See section 9(1)(a) of the Access to Information Act.

Not to discourage you but I ordered GCMS notes on Nov 3rd. On Dec 2nd evening, I got an email saying that they need 90 more days for GCMS notes. I had applied through Get GCMS (https://www.getgcms.com/).

This is what they said:

Wow now they are not ready to send GCMS on time. Type of work permit application you have filed? Single application or multiple applicant. I have ordered through different source so lets see what i will hear from them.
