WORK PERMIT APPLICATION - ABU DHABI EMBASSY

Hello everyone,
I have been silently following this thread from such a long time. Actually, my husband applied for an 'open work permit' on 17th September in Abu Dhabi embassy. yesterday, he received his passport back with visa stamped on it.

CONGRATULATIONS ... Wow! It means VO Abu Dhabi just processed September 2012 applicants.. Next is October 2012...
Good Luck to all.. I hope it will rain with Visa approval today before the Holiday tomorrow....

Actually diko talaga alam yong noc ng friend ko, till now dipa siya reply, pero yong timeline niya from October 6 till January 22, 2013.

Basta all i know was, twice siyang nagfollow-up sa CIC Riyadh through email, then just a week nagrereply kagad sila.

hello guys, how do you submit your application in UAE Canadian embassy? is it thru aramex or by personal. Thanks

you can do it both, but now a days they preferred to send it thru aramex. good luck

First of all congrats, your husband got open work permit thru your document? I mean(Open work permit spouse of Student/Worker class) When he applied for Open work permit in VO Abu-Dhabi? Actually I have plan to apply for my wife, She is in Dubai, and I am in Edmonton, I am doing skill work(NOC-B) so what document she required? Generally how long it will take? There is chances to get Open work permit outside Canada? Thanks

yep i am an international student in university of calgary. your job is in NOC-B category, so definitely your wife can apply an OWP. it shouldn't take that much time but i guess Abu Dhabi embassy was really slow these days.
my husband got OWP from outside of canada.

provide all of the document which u provided except any job offer or LMO.
- statement of intent/purpose of visit
- a (very) strong bank statement
- her property/family/job in Dubai - showing that she will come back.
