Do you think I can submit the new application before I get a confirmation for the current withdrawal where the withdrawal a lawyer submitted on my behalf and the new one I will submit it from my previous portal?

May I ask for the reason for the withdrawal? I honestly have no idea how long does this take, I have never done it before, but I believe if it is fixable and minor, you can fix it through the same web form

I was told I can only apply in August, this is when I got my work permit (flag pole). My PGWP expires on the 30th of August but i was told I can create an EE profile on the 1st of August and apply a few days after if I get ITA.
Usually they respond to the Webform in 5 or 6 days. I do not know about the withdrawal requests though. I just checked with BeautyZino above who has withdrawn his/her PR application around two weeks ago and received their response already.
Thanks Ramor02, do you have any experience/knowledge with withdrawing a PR application done through PNP?
I applied to PR through BC PNP last month after dealing with months of PNP processes but my employer got hit hard by COVID-19 and my employment is an unknown. I wanna cancel it and apply through the Canadian Experience Class.

I do not have an idea about withdrawals but they respond to your inquiries within 5 to 6 days. You can inquire about this and ask about how long do you need to be able to reapply through CEC. Even if they responded and accepted to cancel an application soon, it is different from case to case. According to the IRCC website, they will check your application and the reason for withdrawal before approving your request. I believe it is better to send a Web form and inquire about it.
Have you been able to withdraw your application? For PNP, you can send an email requesting for a withdrawal. For CEC or FSW you need to send a withdrawal request using web form and also attach a written signed consent with reason for withdrawal.
