I got an email from CEC, saying please advise our office if you would like to continue to process your application for PR under the Canadian experience class or whether you would like to withdraw your application from our category.
Please note that only letters duly signed by the applicant are deemed acceptable for withdrawal request......
What should I do? I like to withdraw my application under CEC, as I have another application under PNP, and its going positive to me. I did request for withdraw my application a month ago but I emailed cic but no response.....
Have anyone withdraw application under CEC? should I write a cover letter and sign on it and scan copy would be acceptable to CIC? or I have to send a letter by courier for withdrawal?

HI
I HAVE SAME SITUATION. I HAD APPLIED FOR MY PR UNDER CEC CATEGORY, CIC RECEIVED MY FILE ON 1ST DECEMBER AND MY PNP GOT APPROVED ON 3RD DECEMBER ...
I WANT TO APPLY UNDER NOMINEE PROGRAM.. SO IS THERE ANY WAY TO WITHDRAW FILE FROM CEC?
PLEASE ADVISE
THANKS
SP35, I recommend applying for both.
PNP is only the first part of the PR application and you cannot tell what the processing time will be for the federal part.
It looks like CEC processing is much faster than provincial these days.
I suggest keeping the second application as a backup.
The only drawback is the cost of 2 PR application fees.
Khossain,
Why would like to withdraw the CEC application.
Has a decision been made on your other application?
Is it delaying the other application?
Otherwise, wouldn't it best to wait for the other application to be finalized first?
I am asking this because I have 2 applications (CEC and PNP), with CEC making a better progress so far.
