Took the Oath of Canadian citizenship last February 20, 2018 (TUESDAY) at 1:30 pm and was held at VIA rail Winnipeg hall. We were 76 applicants who took the oath. It was solemn. Already applied for a Canadian passport last week and expected to pick it up at the Passport office in Winnipeg after 10 business days. It was a long journey to the point that your patience is being tested, however, it was a sweetness of a dream come true. It was also an opportunity to write a letter to the Minister of Immigration in Ottawa to express my disappointment in the processing of my application which turned out to be very effective that I got my oath invite after 8 days. LOL
That's not nice but at least someone actually checked your file and told you to wait, which means they haven't forgotten about you or misplaced your file. Fingers crossed for you (and the rest of us).
