please go through above link
and read Qorax post

Hi PA5510N

I read your comment and the link provided by you. Though i got some idea but In simple words I want to know is it possible that when i receive PPR, depending upon the time to delivery I inform the VO that I would like to have the baby outside Canada, Will they allow me to "wait" till the child is born and can we add the child to our current application with additional fee?

I am in confustion because in the other posts by members they have given a note "NOTE: .......................Failure to land before additional dependants are born will result in the need for a new application and new fees for all family members."

Is the above applicable in my case?

Regards,
Pankaj

as per Qorax post you can include new born in you application after getting the Visa and CORP

so don't worry ....

i am in the same situation and i am going to submit updated form along with the RPRF within a week

i will continue my process and will do medicals as per CHC request(hopefully next couple of months) and add my newborn in March or April(depends on delivery)

Are you sure of this?

I've read someone's post where he got a note from the immigration about this matter after informing them about hs wife pregnancy.

They where letting him known that if they have already receive their visa, they will have to return it for them to be cancelled because of the new composition of the family. So they will have to restart all again.
But if the pregnancy is still on its way, their file will not be affected in any way as long as the baby will be born in Canada.

So...

Below is the message he received it is in french (for those who can read and understand french ;) ;) )

;)"Monsieur,

[Hello Seniors,

I need your advices. We are waiting for our medical and on august 28th we sent a CSI and got reply to wait 6 to 9 months to get MR. In this situation, should we plan for our first baby now as my wife is already 30 and we don't want to wait any more.

Now my Question is what should I do if my wife gets pregnant before MR!

1.Should I inform SGVO about her pregnancy?

2. As per their reply we have another 1 year in our hand so can we land after delivery of the child?

3.I heard from other forum that if we want to include our new born before our landing we have to pay our fees again and also submit our new application.

Please help me in this regard.

GTL,

1-Yes you should inform SGVO of your wife's pregnancy.
2-as soon as your wife give's birth, you need to add your new born to your application, you pay only 150 CAD $ as application fee.(personal opinion, it would be a wise thing to do, as if the VO will be sending you MR's then it will reach you all at one time).
3-Not true, you will be paying the fees once at the time you submitted the application. you will only be asked to pay your newborn's application fee (150 CAD $).

Hope that helps,

Hassan

Hi Friends, please help to resolve below dilemma.

I am in US now and my wife is 7 months pregnant and I recently got PPR. I have below 3 options now.

1. Soft landing in Toronto/Halifax and come back next day, continue to stay in US and sponsor child after birth later
2. Shift to any province having next day healthcare after resigning from current job and search job in Canada
3. Wait for birth of baby, inform CIC to cancel and reissue the COPRs with the baby

My question are:

1. Option 1 looks best option, but has a risk of traveling in this late stage pregnancy, that too without insurance in Canada
2. This option seem risky as it looks difficult to get a job in AB/SSK in IT sooner.
3. May the third option be an issue with CIC and if they can delay/cancel my COPR? Anyone tried this option?

Please suggest.
