I meet both the requirements i.e. I'm working in Canada and I do have an offer of employment. Which one should I go for? Skilled worker with offer or Canadian experience class?
Canadian experience class is simpler to qualify for and also is not affected if you have to leave your job. As for the processing time, I do not think that skilled worker is faster.
Wondering if I am doing a live-in caregiver but not under the program just holding the working permit for over 1 year.
I have applied the extension and waiting for LMO to be arrived, am I eligible to applied under "Temporary worker" category once I finished the 2nd year contract? Or I have to applied the live-in caregiver program outside Canada Visa office once I received the LMO?
Tough decision to make and don't want to waste the time here, thanks.

You can not apply under Canadian Experience class if you are a live-in caregiver because it is a low skilled profession.
You can apply under the skilled worker program if you fulfil all the critera, that is you have to have at least 1 year skilled work experience from somewhere in the world, you must have at least 67 points and the third thing is that you either have a skilled job offer or your occupation is on the list of most wanted. That has nothing to do with being on a work permit or having been.
Thanks Leon. How long (approx) would it take to process my application under Canadian experience class? I see that the eligibility is '2 years (or equivalent)', what does this 'equivalent' means?

The current processing time is approximately 11 months. 2 years full time or equivalent in part time means that you need at least 2 years and at least 3900 hours. If you haven't managed 3900 hours after 2 years, you have an extra year to manage it. Say you manage to get 3900 hours after 2 years and 4 months, then that is when you can apply.
