Hi, does any know what is the correct graduation date that CEC considered? Here is my timeline
Dec 2010, completed degree requirement
Feb 2011 started to work
June 2011 attended the convocation and receive degree.
So which date is CEC believe is "after graduate" ? Dec 2010 or June 2011?

The day u received ur degree and got ur post graduate work permit is considered ur graduation date. The experience before ur post graduate work permit doesn't count. All experiences counts from the day u received ur post graduate work permit..
I received my post graduate work permit on Feb 22, but received my degree is June 01, so you mean the experience counts is started from Feb 22? "All experiences counts from the day u received ur post graduate work permit.."Can I ask where did you get this source? Is that from CIC website? Greatly appreciated!!!
You cannot get your post graduate work permit if you are not eligible as a graduate. When you apply for Post Graduate Work Permit, the first and foremost requirement is GRADUATION ( completion of your studies not the Graduation ceremony ) otherwise you cannot apply for it. If CIC has granted you Work permit in Feb, it means that they believe you're done with your studies in Feb.

Do you know of any specific case? Or can you let me know where you've seen the changed rules? I have to be sure about this before I take any further steps.
It seems the guys in CIC call center are themselves confused.
