WES ECA for UK Top Up Degrees, HND, BCS (HEQ) and UK MBA

Yes I sent both my certificates so that WES would be aware of my credits transfer to my top up degree. Have you tried searching for your institute with the WES degree evaluation tool? Even if it is not listed it's nothing to be concerned of. May I know the diploma course you followed at NIIT?

My diploma course I followed at NIIT is DNIIT.

It told me WES not evaludate NIIT certificate...

All QCF Level 4 quals will be accepted by WES as 1 year course of study
Level 5 will be accepted as a 2 year diploma
Likewise your Bachelor's Degree will be evaluated as a 4 years Canadian Bachelor's degree.
All this depends on the authenticity and credit value of transcripts provided.

Any Idea what a UK level 7 Diploma with 120 Credits will be evaluated as? (The awarding body issuing the LEVEL 7 diploma is regulated by Ofqual as it says the ideal duration specification for the course is 1 year but the approved colleges/centers are free to deliver the course in blended learning or distance learning online)

Hi Kency,
If you provide your prior learning transcripts such as your Higher National Diploma/ Advanced Diploma as well as your bachelors degree documents WES should evaluate your Bachelor's Degree as equivalent to a 4 years Canadian Bachelor's Degree.

In my case I did a Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND (240 Credits: 2 years) and a 1 year Top Up Degree of 120 credits (University of Sunderland). I provided both BTEC and University of Sunderland documents. My BTEC HND turned out as equivalent to a two years diploma and my top up degree was evaluated as a four year Canadian Bachelor's Degree.

While evaluating for WES, should I write the name of my uni or Pearson?

Its recommended to put Pearson as the institute name. WES will cross verify this with your Student ID.

1)Country of Education - UK
2) Name of the awarding body - Pearson
