I got message from CIC and also email from Canadian High comission to submit passport.
Just relax and keep waiting for the apporval update from your CIC account.

Didn't you submit your passport along with application when you were applying through vfs?

I submitted my Passport request Letter from CIC, and an print out of my e-mail stating to submit the passport with the original passport. That's all.

I don't understand what you are saying :/ your passport was already submitted and you still received the pdf file right? Where did you submit your instructions letter?

I submitted 3 items to VFS:
1) CIC passport request letter (in the letter is says "please ensure to submit a copy of this letter with the passport")
2) PRINT out of the E-mail stating to submit the passport
3) Original Passport

Do you have any idea if they do background checking after they request for passport? Or are they done with them and have made their decision?
Cuz I want to get it as soon as possible. I read that sometimes it takes months after passport request
