Got passport request for my whole family just now. applied online 20th june

I applied online. I have been asked to submit passport. Could I mail the passport to the VFS (VAC)? But according to VFS website they accept cash only, so how can we mail the passport to VFS (VAC)?

When did you apply ?

I just checked the VFS website :

It's saying in person only. You have to go in person, I feel.

I got passport request but I have another issue now. My mom is currently in USA and we applied from India and never thought passport will be requested so soon. She mentioned in application that she is applying from India however since now she is in US can she submit to US visa office?? Would anybody know?

Hi,

I am a PR in canada and I applied through VFS myself.
Same date as you 19th July, Paper application.
GOD know what they are doing with the file.

I have also applied at Ahmedabad vfs on 19 jul till date no response. Is it a good signal to get visa ? Why it's delay any idea? Status processing at Bangalore office.
